Types of Resinous Floors we currently offer:
Solid Color
This can be completed in a Urethane Polymer Cement, Epoxy, Polyaspartic, or Polyurethane.
Flake Floor
Flake floors can be broadcast into any of these base solid colors. This will depend on the moisture content of the slab, the product used, and the quality of the existing floor.
Quartz Floor
A quartz floor is a decorative quartz aggregate that is broadcast into a Resin-Epoxy, Urethane Polymer Cement, or Polyaspartic to the point of rejection, providing a durable, slip-resistant, and long-lasting decorative floor.
Double Broadcast
This process involves repeating the broadcast of either a flake floor or a quartz floor. This increases the wear and protection for a floor.
? What is a Resinous Floor vs an Epoxy Floor?
“Resinous floor” is actually the umbrella term for an entire family of flooring systems, while an epoxy is just one type of resinous floor. It’s common for people to use “epoxy” in place of “resinous floor”. The resinous family also includes polyurethane (more flexible, better abrasion resistance), polyaspartic (fast-curing, UV-stable), MMA (ultra-fast cure, works in cold temps), urethane cement (heavy-duty for commercial kitchens), and vinyl ester (extreme chemical resistance). So when someone says they want a resinous floor and only knows epoxy, they’re really saying they want one type of resinous system – but depending on their specific needs, like chemical exposure, temperature extremes, cure time, or flexibility requirements, a different resinous system might actually serve them better than standard epoxy.
At Reliable Floor Care, we will custom-match your needs to the perfect Resinous Floor that will match your performance characteristics.
